Well, times do change. I just accepted a position at Bank One, soon to be Chase. I'll start right after returning from Rome, on November 7th. (I'll be 28 by then!) It's a part-time position, but I have a feeling it doesn't HAVE to be PT for very long; my gut is that I could work hours here and there for people and pick up more than 20 a week. I qualify for benefits after 90 days. The woman that interviewed me today was so cool, and though she had an interview scheduled for tomorrow, she must have known she wanted me because I didn't expect a call until tomorrow at least.
So goodbye, Cookie Cutters. Soon anyway.
It sounds like I'll still be able to do some ACT Out stuff, so that makes me happy.

By the way, the title of this entry is from a season 6 eppy of BUFFY--I think it's "Flooded" but it might be "Afterlife"--in which the Buffster's application for a loan has been turned down, despite saving the bank and its employees from certain death by demon. Willow tries to cheer up the angry Buffy, but only annoys her more with her jibber-jabber, which ultimately ends with a hopeless and exasperated, "Banks."

Maybe you had to be there.
